We are a group of ordinary people who have experienced the amazing love of our Heavenly Father. Click below to meet our leaders!
Pastor Will has been serving at New Life Fullerton since 2011. Born in Kansas, he worked on Wall Street before being called into the ministry. He graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 2008, and he has two daughters with his wife, Cathy. In his free time, you might find him cheering on the Lakers (even though he isn’t from SoCal), wandering around Disneyland, or finding a cup of good coffee.
Elder Alex has been a member of New Life Fullerton since its inception in 1993, while serving as an elder since 2003. He and his wife, Jeany, have three children. Along with faithfully serving the church as an elder, he works as a Professor of Higher Education at Azusa Pacific University and serves on the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) Permanent Committee for Mission to the World (CMTW). In 2017, he also served as the moderator of the PCA’s 45th General Assembly. His achievements are certainly numerous, including, but not limited to captaining his high school football team and breaking a high school swimming record (and, no, he was not homeschooled).
Elder Tom has been a member of New Life Fullerton since 2001 and served as an elder since 2006. He and his wife, EunChong, have one daughter. He works as a software developer. One of his favorite passages is Philippians 2:5-11, which beautifully portrays our Lord’s glory in His humility.
Elder Andy has been a member of New Life Fullerton since 2006. He was elected to the office of deacon in 2011 and then elder in 2013. A native of Southern California, he is married to his wife, Ann, with whom he has two sons. He works as a board-certified physical therapist and enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities and sports.
Elder Daniel has been attending New Life Fullerton since 2004. After previously serving as a deacon, he became an elder in 2013. Daniel and his wife, Alice, have two children. After serving in the United States Marine Corp, he now works as a Systems Engineer. His hope for New Life is that we grow in our faith and are instilled with an ever deeper love for God. He enjoys puzzles, fixing things, and all things battery powered.
Andrew is a recent Masters of Divinity graduate from Westminster Seminary California. After growing up in Minnesota, he moved to Southern California for college and seminary. In his spare time, you might find him playing basketball, soccer, or guitar, or chowing down on some In-N-Out (one of the many benefits of his move to California). He is currently serving as our assistant Pastor as he prepares for ordination.
Paul is currently a student at Westminster Seminary California. After serving as the Youth Ministry Intern at our sister church, New Life NorCal, he joined our church as the College Ministry Intern in 2016. He is the proud owner of a boxer puppy. If you need a favor, just feed Paul some Galbitang, Philz Coffee, and take him to a Warriors game.
New Life Kids Director
Despite all the Kims and Lees in our staff, Cathy is actually the only one related to another staff member. Cathy has been attending New Life Fullerton since 2011 when her husband, Will, was called as a Pastor. She has been serving as our children’s ministry (New Life Kids) Director since 2017. She received her M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia with a concentration in counseling. As a cheerleader in the past, you may find her cheering on your children to become loving and intentional followers of Christ.
Youth Ministry Director
Gower has been serving as our Youth Group Director since 2018. She and her husband, Daniel, have three children. She grew up in Orange County but remains unable to leave California… she went to undergraduate school at UC Berkeley followed by graduate school at UCLA, and is currently studying for a Masters in Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia… online from Orange County.
Amanda has attended New Life Fullerton at various times since 1995 as her seasons of life brought her in and out of Orange County. She worked as a teacher for many years after graduate school to put her husband, Dong, through medical school, prior to “retiring” from teaching to raise three children. She came out of retirement to serve as our Church Administrator in 2018.
